The Italian Contemporary Film Festival presented by IC Savings promotes discovery, appreciation, and pride in the diverse and ever-evolving Italian heritage in Canada, and is the largest Italian Film Festival outside of Italy. Having assembled a loyal base of nearly 50,000 attendees per year, the ICFF, established in 2012 as a non-profit festival showcasing less than 10 films, has transformed into a nine-day celebration of Italian excellence. Every year in June, Italian Heritage Month, ICFF screens dozens of films, including shorts and documentaries, in eight cities across the country: Toronto, Vaughan, Hamilton, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa and Vancouver. But the ICFF is much more than simply a film festival… It is a unique exploration of Italian arts and culture. ICFF is committed to celebrating Italian heritage, and bringing together artists and entrepreneurs from around the globe and connecting them with our diverse audience. Each year, the ICFF is proud to present an inspiring lineup of films - the best from newly released Italian and international cinema. The ICFF hosts an exclusive program called, ICFF at Home: Monthly Program, an online membership that offers the newest released contemporary Italian films alongside special content available for all Canadians from coast-to-coast. The ICFF Monthly Program features the release of one new contemporary Italian film each month, with the platform also offering a vast selection of extra content including, but not limited too: documentaries, additional movies, virtual events, short films and exclusive interviews with actors/directors. The platform is made available thanks to our partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
